1. Introductions, apologies and substitutions
Joyce Watson was elected as temporary Chair, in accordance with Standing Order 17.22.
Apologies were received from Ann Jones and Janet Finch Saunders there were no substitutions.
2. Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the meeting for the following business
Motion was agreed.
3. Technical Briefing Session on Homes for Wales: A White Paper for Better Lives and Communities
The Committee received a briefing on Homes for Wales: A White Paper for Better Lives and Communities. The Members questioned the Officials present.
4. Committee forward work programme - Budget Scrutiny
The Committee agreed the scrutiny process for the forthcoming budget, the Clerk agreed to e-mail Members with further details over the summer recess.
5. Inquiry into the Welsh Government's historic environment policy - Evidence session
The Chair welcomed Peter Gomer from the WLGA. The Members questioned the witness.
6. Consideration of the annual report by the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales 2011-12
The Chair welcomed the Peter Tyndall, Public Services Ombudsman for Wales and Susan Hudson, Policy & Communications Manager.
The Committee welcomed the report and questioned the Ombudsman on the report.
The Ombudsman agreed to provide the Committee with a note on the Advisory Panel.
